Hotel Bella Sky Comwell

With a 15-degree incline all the way up to its roof 80 metres above the ground, Hotel Bella Sky Comwell in the Ørestaden area of Copenhagen was a complex and highly demanding task to construct. To reduce building time, Give Steel pre-assembled large steel sections on the ground and used professional climbers to fit the sections in inaccessible places. This reduced crane time and optimised the building process!

Give Steel supplied the project with 70 tons of steel, including a 25 ton catwalk on the 23rd floor. The catwalk was fitted on bearings which could counteract any movement in the structures. The work at Bella Sky was based on a close dialogue with the developer, architect and engineer about the solution.

As Give Steel joined the project at an early stage of the process, we were able to work optimally in a solutions-oriented, following a very tight schedule.
