Due diligence

Due diligence is how we manage risks in both our company and our value chain. Its purpose is to accommodate our customers’ documentation requirements and also serves as documentation that we conduct our business responsibly.

Due diligence is an ongoing, dynamic process whereby policies, risk assessments, action plans and targets are constantly developed and updated on the basis of the insights and changes that the process initiates.

Supplier Code of Conduct

Give Steel’s Supplier Code of Conduct has been developed and updated against the backdrop of our double materiality assesment (policies and due diligence. Our Supplier Code of Conduct establishes the relevant ESG themes within both E, S and G that suppliers must work and comply with if they are to supply Give Steel with goods and services. The policy covers themes that include health and safety, workers employed by third parties, human and labour rights, and risk management in relation to forced and child labour. The policy has been prepared in line with the UN Global Compacts Principles (UNGP), including the ILO convention and OECD guidelines for multinational companies.
