Falkonergården

Falkonergårdens Gymnasium (high school) can look forward to enjoying a new sports and assembly hall. Architecturally, the hall is geometrically simple and built using few materials, including 100 tons of construction steel, supplied and designed by Give Steel.

The minimalistic, functional design of the sports hall harmonises the new with the more traditional existing brick construction from 1955.

The entire space between the two buildings was incorporated into the construction of the new hall. The approx. 1000m2 building has a ceiling height of 10.5m and is designed as a multi-sectioned steel truss made of rolled steel. The arched form of the hall and the “top hat” design of the special steel structure makes Falkonergården an impressive sight. The sports and assembly hall was completed in September 2014.
