Lanternen (The Lantern)
Trusses spanning 45 metres and weighing 6.5 tonnes — the 8,500 m² activity hall in Løgstør is a gridded steel-based construction.
Give Steel designed and supplied approximately 115,000 kg of steel structures for the hall, as well as walkways and connecting corridors. The large, heavy grids were split into two halves to accommodate transport and handling requirements.
Lanternen houses a double sports hall, multi-purpose hall, changing rooms, café, function rooms, cinema, fitness centre, firing range, and health centre.
