EPD - Environmental Product Declaration
At Give Steel, we document the environmental impact of our steel structures through Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). These cover steel structures manufactured at our production facility in Brande, Denmark, and support projects where accurate climate data and clear documentation form an important part of the design process.
The EPDs provide consultants, developers and clients with a verified and transparent data basis for Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) calculations and environmental documentation. All EPDs are third-party verified in accordance with ISO 14025 and EN 15804.
Find our Environmental Product Declarations on the EDP Denmark website. They are also available for download below.
Project-Specific EPDs for Steel Structures
Give Steel offers project-specific EPDs that document the carbon footprint of the specific steel structure used in your project. These EPDs are based on actual project conditions, including the origin of the steel, manufacturing processes, transportation and installation.
This provides consultants, developers and contractors with a more accurate and transparent data basis for LCA calculations and carbon footprint documentation than would be possible using a generic product-specific EPD.
To learn more about the options for project-specific EPD documentation, please contact the project manager responsible for your project. If you require guidance on CO2 calculations, material selection or documentation requirements, you can also contact Give Steel’s CO2 Hotline.
