Give Steel supplier to award-winning logistics building in Sweden

MatHem’s 36,000 square meter logistics building in Larsboda, Stockholm, won the award for best new construction in the category of Industry/Logistics/Company for 2023.

The facility houses an advanced automated storage system, refrigerated and frozen storage, a large office area, and a 9000 square meter parking lot.

Give Steel has been responsible for the production and delivery of the facility’s steel structures.

The facility comprises two buildings: a main building measuring 157 meters in length, 107 meters in width, and 17 meters in height. Additionally, there’s a side building, which is 100 meters long, 25 meters wide, and 10 meters high.

The facility is Gold-certified by the Sweden Green Building Council and features Stockholm’s largest solar panel installation on the roof. Furthermore, Mathem (MatHem) has a strong focus on social sustainability and fostering a good work environment.

Mathem is Sweden’s leading player in pure e-commerce for groceries with home delivery. The company is a technology-driven supermarket offering a flexible e-commerce service for groceries, kitchen products, home decor, pharmacy items, and prescription medicine.
