Interfrukt - building a large format hall
Interfrukt in Langhus, southeast of Oslo, is a classic hall construction built on a scale that is impossible to miss.
The building is 240 metres in length and comprises halls and offices, with a total floor area of 17,800 m². When completed, it will be used to store fruit from around the world. The steel structure itself is straightforward, but the construction’s scale is rarely seen.
Give Steel planned and executed the design, using a total of 520 tonnes of steel to build Interfrukt in Norway, as well as fabricating indoor and outdoor stairs and railings.
