Gentofte Stadion

Gentofte Stadium

Give Steel has built two new sports halls at Gentofte Stadium. The construction project was part of Gentofte Stadium Sports Park, as part of the third phase of an extensive building plan.

This involved an almost 48 metre long truss, weighing four tons. Give Steel supplied a total of 480 tons of steel structures to the construction. The two  halls – a training hall and an events hall – can accommodate 1,500 spectators (600 seated) and have a total area of 6,500 m2. The construction of the halls focused largely on functionality. This means that the halls have visible installations, which bring an exciting visual dimension to the steel structures. The construction project was intended to improve and optimise the facilities so they satisfy international requirements for ball games, including volleyball, basketball and handball. This entailed the installation of roof cover, fences, stadium lighting and audio systems etc. The halls are equipped with changing rooms, club meeting rooms and other functions.
