Sfinxen
280 ton stål skulle der bruges til de nye luksuslejligheder på Islands Brygge. Byggeriet på 12 etager, kaldet Sfinxen, og har fået sit navn fordi kælder, stue og første sal har form som Sfinxens krop, mens etagerne rejser sig i højden.
Dertil leverer og monterer Give Steel opsvejste kassedragere samt søjler og gitterkonstruktioner for afstivning af etagebyggeriet fra 1. til 11. etage.
Fra byggeriet på i alt 7.000 kvardratmeter er der panoramaudsigt ud over byen.
The Sphinx
It took 280 tons of steel to build the new luxury apartments on Copenhagen’s Islands Brygge. The 12-storey building known as “the Sphinx” was so-named because its basement, ground and first floors are the same shape as the body of the Sphinx, while the other storeys are built upwards.
Give Steel supplied and installed welded box girders and columns and grid structures to stiffen the multi-storey construction from first floor to 11th storey.
The 7,000 square metre building has a panoramic view over the city.
