GSY BEAM is an integrated steel composite beam – a composite beam that enables slimmer floor structures, offering the possibility of higher ceilings and lower storey heights. GSY BEAM is used as support for floor slabs in all types of construction and is manufactured specifically to meet the required function.
GSY BEAM is integrated as a beam within the slab itself, creating a slender floor structure that reduces building height and delivers both economic and energy savings.
Thanks to its flexibility, GSY BEAM can be used for virtually any purpose. The design of the composite beam is adaptable and is always tailored to the customer’s requirements in terms of function and geometry. GSY BEAM is produced with the required cantilever height and with casting skirts, reinforcements, safety brackets, and openings for the intended purpose.

CO2-reduced GSY®
Steel composite beam made from up to 98 % recycled steel
CO2-reduced GSY retains all the same excellent properties and benefits as the GSY BEAM steel composite beam. In fact, technically it is exactly the same beam as the GSY BEAM. The sustainable difference lies in the beam’s raw material: the GSY material used for CO2-reduced GSY consists of up to 98% recycled steel.
CO2-reduced GSY is an alternative to GSY BEAM in construction projects where there is a strong focus on minimising the steel structure’s CO2 emissions in the early life-cycle stages.
The CO2-reduced GSY steel composite beam is optimised in the same way as the GSY BEAM composite beam, ensuring minimal use of raw materials. This helps to keep both costs and CO2 emissions low.
Transport using biodiesel can be arranged on request, but the beam’s EPD is based on conventional diesel transport.
With CO2-Reduced GSY, you get a low-carbon composite beam made from recycled steel, ideal for the sustainable buildings of the future.
